ELECTORS’ ASSOCIATION MEETS. The monthly meeting of the Uataitai Municipal Electors’ Association was lieKt on Mouoay night. Toe president t_\ir A. V. itayieilaj was ill tne chair. A report was received from the delegates who attended tne recent meeting of the Eastern Snbnrhs citizens’ Eeugue, and tneir actions were unanimously endorsed. Instructions were also given concerning t the notices of motion which are tabled for consideration at the league's- forthcoming animal meeting. In view of the fact that numerous, strongly-worded complaints have re- ’ cent, y been received irom bonseboldeia in the district as to the poor quality of the gas supplied, it was deckled to draw the attention of the Wellington Gas Company to this matter and solicit better service.'

The City Council are to be asked to clean and regrade, the zig-zag at tho southern end of Hinan road, giving access to the town belt. If this were done and shrubs planted the residents in the vicinity undertake to keep the ground in order. A request for the installation of t light on the corner of Rakau and Ha* taitai roads and the removal of projecting pieces of iron there, is also being, presented to the council for favourable' consideration.
