MOTOR CYCLING
RELIABILITY TRIAL. ■A reliability trial was held by the Wellington Motor Cycling Club on Saturday afternoon. Blinding rain wao encountered by the competitors, which accounted for two of the smaller machines falling out. Nevertheless the ardour of the competitors was verv keen. Eight different makes of machines were represented. j The honour of the occasion, coupled with the generous donation of a Boomer- ‘’■, n S, tyre, donated by the Barnet Glass Rubber Co., was awarded to A. Brae (Harley Davidson), who lost only five I>oints. First place was closely followed by Curtis (A.U.S.), and Miller (Barley Davidson), who tied for second place, each competitor losing six points. Third place was awarded to Righton (Indian) and W ilkinron (A.U.S.), each rider losing seven points. Tlie 'balance of the competitors also arrived in close order of succession. It is tho intention of the club fo hold a further programme of spoil* at a pi ear future date. The officials were: Messrs Bender, Barclay, and Hartnell.
