QUARTERLY MEETING OF OFFI- % CERS.y A Clumber of removals of members of the church were recorded at the quarterly meeting of .officers of the Levin., Methodist Church (writos the 1 ‘Times” correspondent), and the roll of senior members reduced to 107, senior 28 junior. The balance-sheet was read by the circuit steward, showing a -circuit expenditure of £93 ISa 6d ancran income of £92 12s 2d, leading a deficit jof £l 6s 4d. A sum of £63 32s lid had been raised for foreign missions, £l4 9s for the choir (proceeds of the cantata), and £3l 12e 5d for tlio parsonage renovations the proceeds' of the garden party held in April. The reports of tno welfare of the church and the young people’s committees were considered and the recommendations will be adopted by the Levin Church. The chairman stressed the recommendations of the century celebration committee’s proposals for a family altar in each home, and a fellowship weekly meeting in each church.
