KAPUNI HELD UP
SHIPOWNERS TO MEET. There wae nothing new to report yesterday in connection with the holdup of the coastal steamer Kapuhi at Wellington. The Shipowners’ Federation has met. but has deferred action till the arrival from Patea to-day of Mr F. W. Grainfer, general manager of the South aranaki Shipping Company, owners of the Kapuni. A meeting of the shipowners will bo held to-day to consider the situation.
