MAGISTRATE’S COURT
YESTERDAY’S BUSINESS. At the Magsitrate’s Court yesterday Mr P. K. Hunt, S.M., presided. POLICE CASES. One first offending inebriate was dealt »ith in the usual manner. Charles T. Storey, fonvleted of using obsoene language in Post Office square, was fined M 3, with the option of serving fourteen days. Another first offender for drunkenness had a further charge of using otscene language preferred against him. The offence had occurred outside the Grand Opera House, to which he had been refused admission. The fine of M 5, in default fourteen days’ gaol was imposed upon, him.
