AN OPTIMISTIC “DRY” ADVOCATE.
Australian and N.Z. Cable AaeoctiationWASHINGTON, May 9. Mr Arthur Toombee, superintendent of ths Queensland Prohibition forces, has conferred -with W. B. Wheeler, the Anti-Saloon League's counsel. Mr Toombee declared that he believed Australia would adopt National Prohibition within ten years, and that New Zealand wae likely to go dry next year.
