COUNTRY JOURNALISTS

INDUSTRIAL AGREEMENT. The country journalists’ agreement was mentioned in the Arbitration Court yesterday by Mr F. Pirani (representing the employers), who said that, through some carelessness, an under-rate workers' clause had been omitted. Mr E. Kennedy (for the union) said there was no objection to the court’s usual under-rate clause being included.

The president of the court (Mr Justice Frazer) said the clause would he added, and the agreement made, into an> award straight away.
