The Victoria University College De. bating Society held a successful debate. The motion was: “That the modem Press, in sacrificing facts to propaganda, fails to perforin the true function of journalism.’’ Messrs I. I*. G. Sutherland and W. A. Sheat supported, and Messrs C.
