ACCIDENT NEAR MANAIA
OLD RESIDENT CRITIC A LET INJURED.
There is grave doubt whether lb William Hair, who was very seriously injured in a motor accident near Mnnala on Wednesday night, will reooysr. It appears that, accompanied by "his homekeeper <ll » Ter.e). Mr Hair Was walking into Manaia when they were run down by a mctor-car. Both pedestrians were knocked down. Mrs Terle sustained a broken leg, bat Mr Hair was much more seriously injured. His head was out open, his chest severely injured and one of his legs badly smashed. Aa Mr Hair is 82 years of age this month the shock and injuries are very serious, and hlr condition is considered most aritieaL
