The tug Karaka went down yesterday afternoon to the scow Magic, near Pencarrow Head, for the purpose of trying to tow her ofi on the high tide. The tug managed to shift the scow some .yards, but was not successful in getting her afloat. As the weather was very fine,last night another attempt was to be made about 3 o’clock this morning.
