A prominent Sinn Fei-er fa Tralee, 'named O’Sullivan, who served on the (coroner’s jury which inquired into tho 1 death of Mr McCurtain. late Lord May. ’,or of Cork, was shot dead in Cork last j night. He was a man of splendid phyjsique. He was called on to halt, but ] ran, and the police pursued him. O’Sullivan dashed into his bouse and tried to escape by a window of a back room, and was shot dead while dropping to the ground. CONSTABLES MURDERED . ARMED MEN HOLD I P TRAIN. LONDON, April 20. Armed men held up a train for two hours between Dublin and Ballisodare, SKgo. Constables Kelly and Hetherington were taken from the train and shot dead. Archbishop Mannix, in a farther interview', denied that he stated that the Pope had asked him to condemn the alleged Sinn Fein outrages in Ireland, and that he refused the Pope's heqpast and that when he informed the Pope oi the real situation in Ireland the Pope said that the British policy in Ireland was shocking.
