SLEEPING SICKNESS
'AN IMPORTANT DISCOVERY.

Dr. Kling. head of the State Bacteriological Laboratory, has reported that ho ha 3 discovered, after fifteen months’ research, tho sleeping sickness microbe, and ha® finally established the fact that tho disease is infectious. Dr. Kling succeeded in inoculating rabbits with the disease by transplanting the brain matter of deceased persons found to have contagious matter in secretions from diseased throats and noses, and in evacuations.
