OLYMPIC HARRIERS

ANNUAL MEETING. Mr W. H. Philp presided over a record attendance at the annual meeting of the Olympic Harriers. Among those present were Mr W. H. Bennett (life member) and Mr A. Davies (vice-presi-dent). In moving the adoption of the report, Mr W. H. Bennett commented upon the good that was to be gained from harrierisxn. Harrierism, he said, brought out all that was good in a boy, and it also created a spirit of unselfishness. Mr Daviee made mention of the fact that although there were no harrier clubs either in Auckland or Hamilton, he had been told that there would soon be a clnb in each place.
