The Wellington Patriotic Society** Band will give a programme at Central Park to-morrow afternoon. The housing superintendent, Mr Robert McKenzie, made the following progress report to the City Council last evening: —•‘Since mv last report the lining outside of house No. 14 has been finished, and is now ready for the scrim and paper. The house on section 19 has nowbeen covered outside, and I expect to have the roof on this week.” Authority was granted by the City Council last night for the erection **f conveniences at Kelburn. Kilbirnie, and Wakefield Parks, a portion of the cost to be contributed by the district fund.
