DRAUGHTS CHAMPIONSHIP
OPENING EASTER MONDAY. The annual Easter congress in eon nection with the New Zealand Draughts Championship is to commence on Easter Monday, March 38th. The Chief Justice {Sir Robert Stout) will open the congress in. the morning. Three sessions will be played daily, and draught enthusiasts are expected to attend in large numbers. In the list of contestants will he found the well-known names of Messrs A. Boreham, many times champion and last l New Zealand holder of the Auetrala- 1 Bian championship, and F. Hilliker, eiNew Zealand champion, both of Dunedin •. G. Brown and G. Millington, of Christchurch, with a reputation for 'brilliancy; J. Bruce and Burgess, two experts, and m&gg. othgrs N
