ANXIETY ALLAYED IN GEPPSLAND. By Telegraph—Press Aesn. —Copy light (Received March 17, 10 p.m.) MELBOURNE, March 17. Anxiety regarding the bush fires in Gippsjand has been allayed, two inches of rain having fallen. Dairying is at a standstill, as the cattle have to be hand-fed.
