NEW TECHNICAL COLLEGE
GOVERNOR TO LAY FOUNDATION STONE. His Excellency, Viscount Jollicoe, has consented to lay the foundation stone of the new Technical College building on Mount Cook on Monday afternoon next at 2.30, and it is hoped there will be as large a gathering as possible to do honour to the Governor-General.
General Richardson has kindly offered to erect a marquee, so that even if the weather is unfavourable tho ceremony can he performed with as little inconvenience as possible to visitors. The guard of honour will be formed by the Technical College Cadets and by boys from the Amokuxa.
