POLLARD AND BRAN
NEW PRICES GAZETTED. Board of Trade regulations governing the maximum prices of flour, bran, and pollard are contained in ft gazette extraordinary issued yesterday. In localities to rvhich Lytteltou, Timaru, or Oamaru are the nearest ports, the maximum price of flour as sold bv the manufacturer for delivery free on board at the nearest port in •2001 b sacks on the terms of payment within seven days after delivery shall be £2l per ton, less 2J per cent. When the nearest port is a port other than those mentioned above the maximum price shall be the same, plus least cost of carriage from other ports enumerated.
The maximum price of bran or pollard is fixed at .£6 and £9 respectively f.o b., less in each caee 2J per cent. When sold to a purchaser by other than ’he manufacturer, an addition to these rates will be made at ..the rate of 10s per ten in the case of bran and 15s per ton in the case of pollard for quantities of half a ton or more, and 12s 6d and 17s 6d respectively in quantities of less than half a ton.
