CONFLICTING REFORTS
TOWN CAPTURED WITHOUT RESISTANCE. Published in "The Times.” (Received March 1, 7.30 pan.) LONDON, February 28. Reports as to the position of Tiflis are conflicting, Georgian Government telegrams state that it has not fallen. A Constantinople correspondent states that anarchy and pillage are rampant in Tiflis, owing to Bolshevik agent® demoralising the Georgian army, which later melted away, allowing the Bolshevik army to capture tho town without resistance. Another Bolshevik army is marching upon Batoum, on which a Turkish army is also marching. The Moslem population will certainly support the latter.
