INDEBTEDNESS NEARLY £66,000. P*H ASSOCTJITTOK. CHRISTCHURCH, February 10. At a meeting of .the creditors of William Allan Hopkins, .the well-known land agent, held to-night, the following motion was carried: “That Mr W. A. Hopkins be asked to file a petition in bankruptcy and in default of him doing tp within ©even days it is the wish of the meeting that the creditors’ petitions be prosecuted against his estate.” Tlie claims definitely stated at the meeting amounted to £45,717. One of the trustees stated that the indebtedness was nearer £66,000. It was staffed at thg meeting that Hopkins is at present an inmate of a mental hospital. .
