Mr and Mrs W. F. Ruseling and Mr A. R. Knox on Sunday made an ascent of Mount Denman, Mr Knox being overtaken on the way while taking stores to the contractors. Mr and Mrs R.ussling left Te Mae Mooa hut at about 10.30, and in three-quarters of an hour reached Table Top. The going, generally, wan good, while the mountain flowers were much admired. The view, on the whole, was a splendid one, and the surrounding country, as well as the South Island, presented a pleasing picture.
