Smith and Petrie v. Moore and Bills, proved interesting, despite the fact that the; former pair won by 28—18. Bills and Moore opened with four on the first head, then a two and a one, but for the next four heads failed to score, and the game was 10—7 against them. They evened up, however., and on the sixteenth head were only one behind, 19 —18. Their opponents tfhen scored no less than nine on the next three heads, and secured a lead that was not overtaken. V
