ASSURANCE OF UNINTERRUPTED WORK. Bv Telegraph—Frees Assn. —Copyright SYDNEY, January 29. Mr T. Wailsh, secretary of the Seamens’ Union, has communicated with the steamship owners, giving assurances, on behalf of the seamen, of uninterrupted working conditions. He repudiated the suggestions of job control published in the Press, and said: “1 seldom read the newspapers, and never believe them.”
