NAVAL HOLIDAY
SIR AUCKLAND GEDDES INTERVIKWS PREMIER. Australian and N.Z. Cabls Association PARIS, January 28. Sir Auckland Geddes, British Ambassador to the United Slides, had a long interview with Mr Lloyd George on Wednesday and Thursday. A suggestion that he brought an American proposal for a naval holiday is regarded as inaccurate. The reduction of the American programme is oonridered unlikely in view of the unemployment in tho country. NOT SAFE FOR AMERICA. (Received January 30, 5.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, January 28. Admiral Sims, in 'a speech at hill, Massachusetts, said that disarmament was impossible at present. The United States should continue her natal construction programme.
