BUILDING COSTS
CHEAPER HOUSES IN BRITAIN. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association LONDON, January 27. Dr Addison, in opening the first new house under the Worthington housing scheme, said there had been a substantial decline in building costs in the past three months. Tenders had declined by £IOO per house. He proposed to take steps which he hoped would substantially accelerate the decline.
