HASTINGS RAM FAIR
GOOD PRICES FOR SHEARLINGS. PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. HASTIXGSj January 27. The annual ram fair opened, this morning, in fine weather. The first day was devoted to Romney flock rams, and though the entries were smaller than last year the average quality wag better. Bidding was brisk from flg start, and prices on the whole were satisfactory, only a few lines being passed in. The figures reached in the fmer-wool rams were good, the highest price being 17 guineas for the shearlings bred by Mr Colli son, of Longborn. and another line of shearlings bred by Mr Akers, of Linton.
