The Blackball Company's, launch, which went ashore on tho rocks at Kaiwaira during tho southerly storm on Saturday was refloated yesterday, and whs taken round to tho Clyde quayboat harbour for repairs. Tho Japanese steamer Yochigo Maru, which arrived at Auckland on Sunday from Bunbury, via Sydney, with a cargo of hardwood, experienced very heavy weather on the voyage. Tho steamer Stolborg, ono of six vessels recently purchased bv the Union Company, left England on November lit}) for Auckland, -Wellington, Lyttelton, .and Port Chalmers. She is coming out to tho Dominion, via Newport News and Panama, and is due at Auckland about the end of December. The vessel is to be renamed the AVaiotapu. JAPANESE STEAMER FROM BUNBURY. The Japanese steamer Yechigo Maru arrived at Auckland from Bunbury (AA'.A.), via Sydney, on Sunday morning with a cargo of jarrah. and berthed at the Hobson wharf. She left Bunbury on October 23rd : and experienced fine weather until October 25th, when she ran into a westerly gale, lasting for three days. The . weather .then moderated, Sydney being reached on November 3rd. The resumed her voyage to Auckland on November 7th, and; mot with .fine weather until Friday 'last, when she experienced very heavy weather until reaching port. AVANGARATTA AT AUCKLAND,

The British India. Company's eteamer Wangaratta arrived at Auckland from New York on Sunday. She left the American port on October 12th, nnd called at Panama and Piteairin Island en routet Fine to,, moderate weather was experienced oil the voyage until last Friday, when the vessel encountered strong westerly and south-west gales with high seas. Her decks were continually awash, but no damage is reported. The vessel has 2-4D9 tons of general cargo for New Zenland, 820 fns of which are for Auckland. From Auckland the Wangaratta will proceed to Wellington and Australia. ■
