GOVERNMENT'S MAJORITY GREATLY" REDUCED. By Telegraph—Press Asbtj.—GopyrigM BRISBANE, October 11. Progress returns reduce the Government majority from twenty to eight. Two Ministers' seats are doubtful at present, but the figures are incomplete. The new Country Party has gained three seats in the Wide Bay district. THE PREMIER'S HOPE. (Received October Hth, 11 p.m.) BRISBANE, October 11. There is no alteration in the election figures. The Premier (Mr Theodore) states that he hopes thirty-five Labourites will be returned. THE LATEST FIGURES. (Received October 12th, 1.25 a.m.) BRISBANE, October 11. On the latest figures. Labour appears,- likely to secure 40 scats, the Country Party 21, and the Nationalists 12, bujt .postal and absentot votes still to be counted are capable of altering some of the doubtful seats
