AGITATION IN NEW SOUTH WALES. SYDNEY, October 9. The Chief Justice of New South Wales declined to accede to the' Co-, vernmcnVs request to make available a judge to inquire into the question of the proposed increase of salaries of members of Parliament. The refusal is grounded on the contention that the Judiciary should not be involved in political matters.
