BOXING MATCH
MONDAY'S TOURNAMENT. Arrangements for the boxing tournament on Monday evening are reported to be well forward',; and there is every prospect of: patrons witnessing one of the most ■ interestintc evening's sport to. date. Naturally much ■ interest has centred in the visit of "Digger" Evans,-and his training' work has ■ been' the, subject- of more than, usual ■ interest. Ho has the reputation of-being one .of the fast feather-weights at present boxing, and his work thus far has fully justified his reputation. Those privileged to witness his bouts' are enthusiastic over the prospect of seeing ;an exhibition of.'speed and cleverness nover previously seen in Wellington.
