• ' WELLINGTON CLUB. Although- the season has not yet been opened otlicially the club has called for entries for its first race, the club fours, and it is expected that the crews wili be- selected next Monday. Twelve new members, have so .far signed on and it is hoped that.at least twenty new members names will appear in the entries for the olub fours, together with tin 1 names of some of the old members who were unable to row last season.- . A hie programme of club races has been drawn up and keen competition is expected for the cups which go with each race. .*■■'• The following races-will he . rowed this year:—Club fours, junior fours, senior fours, junior -pairs, senior pairs, club doable sculls, ladder, sculls (junior), junior sculls, senior sculls, handicap scuJls, novice pairs, -and the-three Saturday afternoon races:, Wareham .fours. Kompthorne fours, and President, fours. The revival of the Wellington Anniversary Day Regatta is being very favourably commented upon- by the oluimembers, and the-regatta committee are assured of the whole-hearted support of all. ■
