IN SYRIA
ARABS PLAN TO ATTACK FRENCH IN DAMASCUS. Eeuter'a Telegram. LONDON, September 5. A message from Alexandria states that the Arab tribes in Hauran ! have come to a mutual agreement to attack the French in Damascus. It is stated that French troops sent to Hauran were recently defeated. Damascus is now being entrenched. There are'aiDOUt 12,000 troops there.
