CASHMERE SANATORIUM
CHANGE IN CONTROL DEiLAYED,
The Cashmere Military Sanatorium at Christchurch has not yet been handed over by the Defence Department to the control of tho local Hospital Board. Tho transfer was to have been effected on August 31st, but a difficulty has arisen. The patients in the # sanatorium complain that when the civil authorities take control of tho institution certain privileges which they now enjoy will be taken away from them, and, in the circumstances, they desire the present administrative body to retain control. Until the questions in disEuto have been adjusted between the lefenco Department and the Hospital Board the sanatorium is not to he handed over.
