WEATHER PROSPECTS
(By the Government Meteorologist.) Present indications (5 r».m yesterday) are for moderate to strong south-east winds northwards of Westport and. Kaikoura. and variable breezes elsewhere. Cold and changeable weather may be expected generally, with passing showers on the east coast district and about Cook Strait. Barometer little movement, but falling shortly in the south.
