BROOKLYN HARRIERS.
The above club is holding its star event, namely, the club ohampionship (five miles) and eealed handicap at the Miramar course to-day. There is a largo entry, including practically all' of the Wellington representatives who were so successful in winning the banner at the Now Zealand cross-country championship meeting at Christuhurch on Saturday last. Tho race should be of extraordinary interest this, year, and a largo crowd of spectators is anticipated.
