On 6th inst. wo conducted a clearing sale of dairy cows on. account of Mr P. Verio, Aramoho. The cows on the whole were poor in condition and mostly backward calvers. The pigs sold readily. SALE AT PALMERSTON NORTH. ..’Tim New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, Palmerston North, report on Tuesday, wo held a dairy sale account of Mrs E. Jones. Bamesso. also a dispersal sale on account of Mr George Lake. Mrs Jones’s cows were a fair lot and sold freely. Mr Lake s cows were, an exceptionally fine lot and prices realised for the herd were above the average. Mrs Jones’s best cows made £22, fair cows £l4 to £lB 10s, three-quarter and backward cows £lO 10s, heifers in calf. Mr Lake's cows good, fair, sundries sold at late rates. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, Palmerston North, report on Wednesday: We held a clearing sale on account of Mr Jas, Atkins, Whakaronga.
