FRENCH SEAMEN ON STRIKE

1- strike of twenty-four , hours, beginning* to-day, was orgaxnsed in Marseilles and Le Havre. The desire to paralyse the trade of these ! ports is not due to any wages dispute, but as ah example of direct action. It is intended to force the Government to release the sailors who mutinied aboard the French, warships in the Black Sea.
