MEAT SHIPMENTS. The total shipments of meat ainco operations commenced in March. 1915, have boon; —2,885,043 quarters of beet, 12,299,080 carcases of mutton, and 13,635,510 carcases of lamb. Total number of bales paid for 2,031,092. • The following are the particulars of the slipe wool (freezing ’ompaaics) • Purchased for valuation in I'idled Kingdom.—Total number of hales advanced against 68,880, bales shipped 67,085, bales shipped account other Governments 1795; total payments to date, £2,013,123. Purchased under New Zealand valuations. Total number of bales 138,406, bales shipped 80,789, bales account other Governments. 7604; total payments to date £3,86^,221. SHEEPSKINS AND HIDES. The total number of sheepskins purchased and distributed to fellmongers since February, 1917, is 6,380,501.
