DANGEROUS SCRIM,
The conference of the New Zealand PaintersTederation passed a resolution asking for the assistance of tho Public Health Department in finding a substitute for scrim and then to make the use of scrim illegal. It was decided that headquarters this year should be at Christchurch, and the following officers were President, Mr Lee; vicepresident, Air Sey; secretary, Mr Chnhorn; treasurer, Air Bell; auditor. Mr Lummis; committee, Messrs Collins. Poison, and Bowden; Parliamentary committee, Messrs Nicol, Martin, and Gapes. ,
