BOURNEMOUTH TRAGEDY
MAN AND WIFE IN BEDROOM . WITS THROATS OUT.
LONDON, January 22. A charwoman, upon entering the residence of Mr and Mrs Groundwater, Grosvenor road, Bournemouth, found their dead bodies in one of tho bedrooms. Both were in their night attire. Mrs Groundwater was lying on the bed with her throat out, and on the body were serious injuries. The man was lying by the side of tho bed with his throat cut deeply. The woman had apparently been dead about three hours and the man about li hours. In the room a" short-handled ■ cool hammer and a razor, both stained with blood, were found. Air Groundwater, who is between 50 and 60 years of age, recently suffered from a nervous breakdown. They had resided alone in tho house, being lately without servants. At the inquest it was suggested it was a case of murder and suicide.
