Mr Samuel Gompers (President of the American Federation of Labour) has published the following programme advocated by Labour: —Deflation of currency, prevention of hoarding and unfair prices; Federal licensing of all corporations operating f»r profit; organisation of co-operative production, transportation and distribution; facilitation of ownership of homes; graduated tax upon all uncultivated and usable lands; increased inheritance, income and land taxes; Governmental advisory supervision of education; public ownership of puhlio utilities; Government ownership of. whbrves, docks and development ot water powerj election of Federal judges; legalisation of strikes.
