Federation regarding the demand for. increases of 3s per shift for adults and Sd per shift for workers under 16, said the demand amountedto- syndicalism,-.in its worst and least intelligent form. The claim is that the whole of the abnormal profit made out of the foreigner, which now goes to the State, • should bo given to the miners. If there is a fall In the price, wages would have to come from the unfortunate-consumer. • _ The deputation-finallv decided to discuss the matter with the Coal Controller.
