COACHBUILDERS’ WAGES
A NEW AWARD. A Conciliation Councill will sit, at tho offices of the Commissioner <Mr \V. Newton) this morning in order to consider the claims of the Wellington coachbuilders for a new award. A conference of coachbuilders was held in Auckland last week with tho object of arriving at a Dominion agreement, but it is understood tho parties were unable to reach a settlement, all questions being settled but that of wages of journeymen, which was referred to tho Arbitration Court.
