In all 217 cases of influenza were notified in the Wellington Health District from the loth to the 22nd of March—2l3 mild and 4 pneumonic. For the previous week the figures were 316 mild and 4 pneumonic; total, 320. The cases were distributed amongst the various hospital distx-icts as under:— AVaipawa, 2 mild. Taranaki, 62 mild —New Plymouth 41, AVaitara 17, Inglewood 4. Stratford, 12 mild. Hawera, 24 —Hawera borough 14 mild and 1 pneumonic, Kapouga 2 mild, Eltham 7 mild. Patea,' 16 —Fatea borough, 12 mild; Waverley, 4 mild. Wanganui, 34—Hunterville, I mild and 1 pneumonic; Bulls, 2 mild; Wanganui, 29 mild and 1 pneumonic. Palmerston North, 7 mild.
