EASTER CURTAILMENT. Further details of the Easter tramway “cut’’ already mentioned in the '‘Times” show that there is to be a severe curtailment at a time when many thousands aro on the move. As stated no cars will ho run on Good Friday. For Easter Saturday there will be a greatly reduced service. On some lines no cars at all will b© run. These are the Wallace street, Aro street. Oriental Bay and Thorndon quay lines, and between Courtenay place and Government Buildings no Cars will run. Karori. Wadestown and Northland will be served by a limited number of cars running from those suburbs as far as Government Buildinns. Cars from Island Bay, Bhtaitai. ICilbirnie, Lvall Bay. Seatouh and Miramar will run only to Courtenay place. The service on Easter Sunday will bo nearly as good as the usual Sunday service. On Easter Monday, it is hoped, the timetable will he normal again. ' The curtailment has been planned' +c provide an o'nportnnity of thoroughh overhauling the boilers.
