OPENED' BY POSTMASTER-GEN-ERAL. The Hon. J. G. Coates, PostmaslerGcnoml, opened on Saturday afternoon the new nost. office at. Paokakariki. Mr W. H. Field. M.P. for the district, accompanied tho Minister. The contract price for the building which comprises fho post office with the residence of tho postmistress, was £1475. The business portion compribos a public office, telephone bureau room, telephone exchange room, mail room, and store room, together with a sot of private letter-boxes accessible'from the entrance porch.
