ENGINEERS STILL OUT
MINERS AND CONFERENCE PROiPOSAL.
A Press Association telegram, front. tVaihi states that a stop-work meeting of miners will be held, to-day (Monday) to consider a letter from the mining companies relative to a further conference. There is no. further development in connection . with the engineers’ strike. Work commenced as usual at the mines without tho assistance of the engineers and fitters.
