LADIES’ SENIOR SHIELD. . An interesting match was played at the Petone Club s courts on Saturday afternoon to decide the ladies’ senior club championship .for .the Wellington Provicnial Lawn Tennis Association’s Shield. The match was the outcojne of a challenge issued by the Brougham Hill Club to the holders of the shield (Petone) and ended in favour of the latter by a comfortable margin. - Petone won the match by—4 rubbers to 2; 9 sets to 4; ,63 games to 44.
