STATUE IN TRAFALGAR SQUARE. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. LONDON, March 17. Queen Alexandra unveiled a statue of Mile Edith Cavoll in Trafalgar square on tho island site where Gordon’s statue Stood prior to its removal to Khartoum. The statue was erected with subscriptions collected through the “Daily Telegraph.” It is cut out of white marble and shows Miss Cavoll standing erect in a nurse’s uniform. There was a distinguished English and Belgian gathering ait tho ceremony.
