DUPLICATION AN URGENT NECESSITY. BETTER WIRELESS COMMUNICATION. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright SYDNEY, March 18. Tho Chambers of Commerce Conference resolved to urge tho Government to do its utmost to have the Pacific cable duplicated at tho earliest possible date, and also to arrange for wireless communication with America, Canada, and other parts of the world. The mover in emphasising the importance of the resolution, remarked that Germany was linked up by wireless with the Argentine, which was Australia’s biggest competitor in the supply of primary products.
